The elderly man, from Ruddington in Nottinghamshire, pleaded guilty to a total of 17 charges when he appeared at the judicial center on the end of the week.

'Treat game'
Mary Prior KC, prosecuting, described Ruben's offending to the legal proceedings.
She stated his victims were disadvantaged youngsters who were participating in a summer program which he managed.
The defendant played a "sweet game" with the children, the prosecutor said, in which he would go into the children's bedrooms when they were getting ready for bed and ask them to eat sweets "rapidly".
She informed the proceedings Ruben had engaged in this activity with the boys "repeatedly", and children had previously become sick the next day.
She stated Ruben had been capable of justifying this repeatedly as the youngsters being "overwrought by enjoyment", until his family member had worries in recently.
The legal representative added: "Recently" his stepson had suspicions about the activities, justifiably.
"They resolved" to examine in the man's possessions."
The prosecutor stated items including baby oil, Vaseline and medical needles were found, and his stepson contacted the police about his concerns.
She said the man went on to engage in the "treat game" with six children that time - Saturday 26 July - and they were all ill the next day.
"Law enforcement" had not responded by that stage," she stated further.
The oversight body, the investigative body, had stated that it was reviewing law enforcement's management of the situation.
The prosecutor stated the minors were struggling to walk due to their condition, so Ruben's stepson contacted the law enforcement again.
She stated Ruben then played the "treat game" in a room of five youngsters.
